香港助產士會的成立有賴多位前輩及歷屆委員們的熱忱，她們為本會作出無私的奉獻，發展會務盡心竭力，實令人欽佩。
她們那份熱忱影響我等後輩為專業出一分力，本人深感榮幸，自 2014 年起被推選為會長，對於助產士專業發展視為本會的理念，於 2015 年擬定「五年助產士會的策略性計劃」，務使會務能達到全方位發展，透過助產專業建立一個母嬰友好的社區。
計劃內容循著幾個範疇開展，分別是：促進母嬰健康、引導專業發展和進步。
